1723	Gothic onslaught bogs down  after taking back most of their ground. French retaliate with no success, defensive war begins

1728	With NueHannover in rubble,  Lord VonBomburg sells treasury to Portuguese mercenaries to declare war on French.
1735	Portuguese win decisive battle at Port Versailles killing The Grand Duke LaPuissant.
1763	Due to the French loss in the 7 Years War France cedes Interland territory to Great Britain.
1807	German Area pledges alliagence to the Prince of Liechtenstein as he is the only 1 of two vestige of the Holy Roman Empire
1810	The foundations of a modern nation state is formed when a ducal commonwealth is founded. Cantons based on linguistic traits are formed. 5 Germanic Cantons are formed with the Gothic Grand Duke at its head. Nobles within the territorial area of the commonwealth are required to abide by the constitution or lose their titles.
1914	By World War I 3 German, 4 Portuguese and 3 French cantons join the Commonwealth. Surprisingly 95% of the nobles agree to adhere to the constitution in order to retain titles as semi-honorary titles.
1915	English is adopted as a 1 of 4 national languages.
